Service Description

Course Description: This intensive course leverages Human Factors Engineering (HFE) principles to optimize trainee interaction with their equipment and environment, thereby maximizing performance, safety, and efficiency. By employing neural loading and cognitive ramping techniques, trainees will learn about adaptive training techniques that go beyond typical live fire training reps and sets, as they enhance their proficiency in marksmanship, weapon handling, and tactical movement. The overarching objective is to gain an understanding of the value of training that leads to SAFE, FAST, and REPEATABLE optimized performance. Key Learning Objectives: • Understand how Human Factors Engineering (HFE), neural loading and cognitive ramping applies to performance optimization • Validate essential marksmanship training and techniques for enhanced accuracy, ranging and speed capabilities • Effectively engage targets out to 300 meters • Weapon functionality knowledge and handling skills • Learn and apply effective Individual Movement Techniques (IMT) in diverse tactical scenarios Course Content: • Individual Movement Techniques (IMT) and target acquisition in simulated complex terrains • Essential marksmanship fundamentals and shooting positions • Target acquisition, ranging and engagement Tactic Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) • Weapon functionality, handling e.g. carry, malfunction/stoppage clearance and immediate action drills • Tactics Techniques and Procedures (TTPs), for Tactical and Speed reloads (why, how and when?) • Integration of cover and concealment with firing positions • Physical fitness tips for integration with marksmanship and movement • Load-Bearing Equipment Setup: Trainees will learn to configure their Load Bearing Equipment (LBE) for optimal comfort, accessibility, and efficiency. This includes proper fit, balanced equipment distribution, and integration with other gear. Time/Date: April 5-6, 9am-5pm Target Audience: Military personnel, law enforcement officers and legally armed citizens seeking to elevate their combat and/or sport shooting effectiveness. Prerequisites: • Complete the Kit Carson Ventures (KCV) Baseline Skills Assessment and/or Fundamentals to Mastery, Rifle Course
