Service Description
The Civilian Streetfighter: Course Summary and Key Learning Objectives Course Summary: The Civilian Streetfighter is a progressive, hands-on course designed to equip civilians with the essential skills and mindset for effective self-defense and close quarters battle (CQB) in home and urban environments. Through a structured crawl-walk-run methodology, students build foundational safety and weapon handling skills, advance to individual and team-based tactics, and culminate in realistic, high-stress scenarios. The course emphasizes safety, practical application, and decision-making under pressure, ensuring participants gain confidence and competence for real-world situations. Key Learning Objectives Crawl Phase • Historical applications of Urban Warfare and CQB • Singleton CQB TTPs and SOPs • Demonstrate understanding of safety protocols, basic weapon handling, and core CQB concepts such as threat prioritization and room entry basics. • Execute individual movement techniques, including door procedures and entry methods, in a controlled and methodical manner. • Perform dry runs of two-man room clearing to build confidence and clarify team roles. • Closing sectors, points of dominance and dynamic entries. Walk Phase • Apply team-based tactics, focusing on four-man room clearing, effective communication, and coordination within small teams. • Navigate hallways, stairwells, and multiple-room scenarios while maintaining flow, control, and situational awareness. • Participate in practical exercises/drills e.g. Contact at Breach Run Phase • Conduct drills and mission profiles/scenarios involving dynamic entry, hostage scenarios, and emergency actions at team levels. • Engage in force-on-force exercises with role players to simulate real-world stress and decision-making under pressure to include hand-to-hand combat utilized to secure, secondary, or tertiary weapons. • Evaluate and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) through after-action reviews and performance assessments. Course is time or objectives based.
